With the weather turning this week it is hard not to think of summer plans and places. My mind thinks of places on the river like the Holly Point barn we designed for a Richmond family a couple seasons back as a base camp for an ongoing house restoration and long term use as a party barn or guest cottage alongside the waterfront. Making places for generations is the dream.

Working on some moody renders. The springtime sky has been pretty amazing this week and I imagine the breeze flowing through the outdoor living spaces and through an open casement window or two. The collaboration between the experienced builder and an another architect on turning a concept into a buildable project has been intensive and rewarding.
