The advantage of building things out in 3D software is to understand the relationships of the parts to the whole. Backyard additions always need to consider light, access, and view. In this case, we are proposing the covered outdoor space branch off the two story garage rather than the addition to create a courtyard, increase light at the addition, and provide the most function. It also gives us something nice to look at from both spaces.
